On August 8, 2013, Mr. Jasson Miscreola, a Ramp Services Agent from RSD T1 was recognized for reporting an oil spillage. Mr. Miscreola was able to report an oil spillage before Japan Airlines flight JL745 arrives on its bay assignment. As an operational procedure, ramp personnel assigned on JAL flights are required to conduct FOD Check (Foreign Object Debris Check) before the arrival of the aircraft. While checking Bay 09 for any FOD, Mr. Miscreola noticed the said spillage and reported it to the maintenance manager of Japan Airline.

Japan Airlines recognized Mr. Miscreola’s action which shows his dedication in performing his duties and function. Former JAL Station Manager, Mr. Hideo Kosaka, handed Mr. Miscreola a certificate of commendation and a gift check worth 500 pesos.


The Training Department partnered with Arc Docendi Inc., for a complimentary leadership training. Arc Docendi Inc., a multinational training institute provides a seminar on John Maxwell’s 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership facilitated by its CEO, Mr. Lex Cajilig. The seminar started on February 5, 2013, and ended on August 7, 2013. Mr. Eric Nuque, Training and Development Manager arranged the schedule of the employee-participants batch by batch. The Training Department gathered Six (6) Batches for the whole duration of the program attended by Duty Managers, Supervisors, Lead Agents, and other Staff from Operations, Admin, Human Resources, Purchasing, and the Finance Department.

Each batch consisted of 25-30 participants. Also, The MASCORP Training Room located in Terminal 1 was reserved and was used as the training venue every Tuesday, two (2) hours a week. All who successfully attended and completed the seminar cycle received their certificates of attendance.

According to Mr. Nuque, the objective of the complementary cycle of John Maxwell’s 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership is not only to present the 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership but also to encourage the employee-participant to reflect on his/her leadership experience and to work on specific projects that will directly involve the participant’s team using John Maxwell’s principles.


The long wait for the construction of the MASCORP’s Motor pool and Warehouse project had finally come into an end as it had its inauguration last January 13. Attended by various partners in the industry, the inaugural ceremony of MASCORP Motorpool was celebrated by Msgr. Modesto M. Teston. After the blessing of the building, a short program follows. The MASCORP General Manager, Mr. Emerson Bonoan, delivers a short speech. A ribbon-cutting which signifies that the project was formally open for the operation was led by MASCORP VP for Human Resources, Legal & External Relations, Atty. Marivic Moya.

Located along the General Aviation Area, the construction of the project started with a groundbreaking ceremony last May 16, 2013. The Motorpool was constructed on an approximately 2,500 sqm lot and now houses the company’s equipment being used for the daily ramp operations. The Mascorp motor pool is also being utilized for repairing, washing, repainting and maintaining the said equipment. It also serves as a warehouse for the company materials and supplies.

The completion of the MASCORP Motorpool project signifies another success for the company. A project that the whole MacroAsia Airport Services Corp. can be proud of.
