5 Years Loyalty Award
MASCORP recognized with utmost pride its employees who have served the company with dedication and loyalty for 5 years. Last April 15 and 24 at the Sky Freight Building offices. General Manager Emerson Bonoan Jr. and HRD Manager Amor Balayboa were on hand to individually hand the certificates of Appreciation to the awardees. Head of Operations Mr. Angelo Dyoco and the Department Heads of the awardees were also present to witness the event. After the ceremony, a sumptuous snack was served to all the service awardees.
GOOD HEALTH FOR MASCORP EMPLOYEES:
FREE FLU VACCINE FROM HRAD
A group of medical team came to MASCORP clinic to facilitate the free flu vaccination given by the HRAD for all its employees. The team consists of 2 nurses and a physician-administered vaccine shot to the 407 employees of MASCORP in Manila and a separate team for MASCORP Cebu Station which has a total of 44 registrants. The vaccination was held last May 15 and 16 for MASCORP Passenger and Ramp department for terminals 1 and 2 while the administration of MASCORP including the GSE department, Ramp department for Terminal 3 and Cebu station had their turn last May 17. All registrants were given 5 mg shots of VAXIGRIP from SANOFI PASTEUR, the vaccine provider of the said project. According to Dr. April Sarmiento, it is important for a person to have a flu vaccination at least once a year to strengthen its immune system which helps us fight any diseases. Inflammations, fever and allergic reactions were some of the effects of the vaccine. The free flu vaccination was made possible through the efforts of the HRAD Manager, Ms. Amor Balayboa together with the help of MASCORP Clinic.
ANNUAL PHYSICAL EXAMINATION 2013
For the promotion and protection of the health of its employees, MacroAsia Airport Services Corporation required its HMO to conduct an Annual Physical Examination which was held last August 1 and 2, 2013 to all regular and project-based employees.
FThis year, the company’s medical provider which is South Superhighway Medical Center (SSMC Inc.) provided a high quality of medical services. On these dates, all the 350 employees were attended by a group of competent medical practitioners from the said medical provider. The medical provider was assisted by our own medical team headed by Dr. Dennis James T. Gabriel.
Last March 14, 2013, HRAD presented certificates and cash incentives to the 2012 Perfect Attendance in simple ceremonies held at the Skyfreight Bldg. offices.
Effective this year, The Perfect Attendance guidelines have been amended to include the following exemption as approved by our General Manager.  In lieu of punching in and out his/her timecard, the employee’s training attendance record signed by the trainer and the Department Head shall be submitted to HRAD.  minutes prior to their official time out- the Department Head shall submit to HRAD the list of such employees and the dates concerned and justification for the early time out.
Likewise, the company modified the cash incentives scheme for Perfect Attendance. Effective this year, a cash pot to Php250,000.00 Quarter will be divided amongst the quarterly perfect attendance awardee. Consequently, a Php 400,000.00 cash pot will be amongst the Perfect Attendance awardee for the year 2013.
